A Certain Someone is René Arbeithuber, a member of the bands Slut and Pelzig. After fifteen successful album productions with his bands and projects, René decided it was time to embark on a solo musical journey. Influenced by captivating guitar-driven music from renowned artists such as Slowdive, Ride, The Sundays and Interpol, as well as drawing inspiration from PJ Harvey and Depeche Mode, A Certain Someone creates a unique fusion of indie shoegaze 80s dream pop. With an even more diverse personal musical history encompassing 50s rockabilly and hip-hop, he brings forth a fresh and compelling blend of sound.
